- Los Angeles Area included the three Census Bureau-defined metropolitan statistical areas of Los Angeles-Long Beach-Anaheim, CA Metro Area, Riverside-San Bernardino-Ontario, CA Metro Area, and Oxnard–Thousand Oaks–Ventura, CA Metro Area
- New York City Area included the Census Bureau-defined metropolitan statistical area of New York-Newark-Jersey City, NY-NJ-PA Metro Area
- San Francisco Area included the Census Bureau-defined metropolitan statistical area of San Francisco-Oakland-Berkeley, CA Metro Area
- San Jose Area included the Census Bureau-defined metropolitan statistical area of San Jose-Sunnyvale-Santa Clara, CA Metro Area
- Seattle Area included the Census Bureau-defined metropolitan statistical area of Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue, WA Metro Area
- Washington DC Area included the Census Bureau-defined metropolitan statistical area of Washington-Arlington-Alexandria, DC-VA-MD-WV Metro Area
- Houston Area included the Census Bureau-defined metropolitan statistical area of Houston-The Woodlands-Sugar Land, TX Metro Area
- Dallas Area included Census Bureau defined metropolitan statistical area of Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington, TX Metro Area
- Boston Area included Census Bureau defined metropolitan statistical area of Boston-Cambridge-Newton, MA-NH Metro Area
