How are Taiwanese doing in the United States of America?

The 2020 American Community Survey also showed some encouraging and positive comparisons in areas of education level, health insurance access, U.S. citizenship integration, and homeownership for Taiwanese and Taiwanese Americans.

Education Level

Higher percentage of Taiwanese and Taiwanese Americans population have completed 1-4 years of college and 5+years of college in comparison to the general population in the U.S.:

Same trends hold in comparison by census metropolitan areas as well – Taiwanese and Taiwanese Americans tend to have completed some college or higher in education:

We see signs from higher level of access to health insurance for Taiwanese in comparison to general population as an indicator for positive employment status ensuring some level of social stability for Taiwanese Americans and Taiwanese in America:
