Start A Chapter
Strong organizations have great leaders, and great leaders attract outstanding talent. The foundation for building a strong and successful local TAP Chapter starts with:
-
- Recruitment
Find others who share your same enthusiasm! Once you have a solid team lined up, it’s time to assess.

- Assess
Is starting a TAP chapter realistic? You’ll want to factor in your local demographics, gauge interests – check for the demand, and tap into local resources and connections to see what’s available. You will want to be attracting at least 100+ people in their 20s and 30s, who ideally would be interested in attending and joining TAP and its events. - Contact
When you’ve collected and gathered this data, contact TACL to discuss the next steps. The rest of the process can be very involved, but it all starts with the desire to build the organization in the right way so that it becomes sustainable and fun!

TAP is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization through its parent organization, Taiwanese American Citizens League.
