TACL continues to encourage youth to continue to educate and help mobilize the community for the Census 2010 campaign.

The US is conducting their decennial Census in 2010 and we invite students and groups to explain, “Why is it important for Taiwanese Americans to be counted in the Census?”

The objectives of the TACL Census 2010 grant contest are to:

Increase awareness about Census 2010 and get students to think about its importance to the Taiwanese American community and how it relates to their community and future.
Promote community involvement and social service.
Recognize students with leadership qualities as well as a commitment to civic and public service.
