Yvonne Hsu is District Representative and Liaison to the Asian American community for U.S. Congressman Adam Schiff. She is also the Director of External Affairs for the Asian Pacific American Legislative Staff network (APALS), a non-partisan group of legislative staff of elected officials in federal, state, and local government. Dedicated to serving the community, she has extensive background in government and non-profit experience. Previously, Yvonne served as Outreach Coordinator at the Housing Rights Center, a non-profit civil rights organization that actively supports and promotes fair housing throughout the greater Los Angeles area. As an alumna in the TACL Summer Internship Program and Senator Barbara Boxer's Los Angeles Office, she also helped the TACL's Internship Program as a mentor, and a member of its selection committee. Yvonne graduated from the University of California - Riverside with a double major in Sociology and History. An avid eater and reader, she enjoys eating Pinkberry and Beard Papa while reading Harry Potter.
