MISSION

TACL 's mission is to improve the quality of life of Taiwanese Americans in the United States.

HISTORY

TACL was incorporated on January 14, 1985, and established at its Inaugural Banquet on July 13th.

NATIONAL BOARD MEMBERS

TACL is a 501(c)3 non-profit run entirely by unpaid volunteers.

PROGRAMS

Its programs serve to benefit all ages, but have emphasized on leadership and identity development programs for youth, encouraging involvement and development in areas that Asian Americans lack adequate representation.  Signature programs include the Political Internship (SIP), Journalism Internship (JIP), Entertainment Internship (EI), High School Scholarship, Leadership Identity Development (LID) and Leading Youth Forward (LYF) Camps, and our affiliates for young professionals: Taiwanese American Professionals (TAP) and for high school students: Junior Taiwanese American Students Association (JTASA).
